Starting March 1, restaurants in and around Lunenburg will face off in a battle royale in hopes of winning the Battle of the BURGer. Participating restaurants will concoct creative burgers and run them on their menus March 1–March 29.
For every burger purchased, a minimum of $1 will be donated to The BURG Classic and, in turn, to recipients the BURG supports and funds.

The Draft Comprehensive Community Plan is ready for your feedback, and we need your help to prioritize actions, policies or other initiatives that will move Lunenburg toward its goals in the next 5 years.
The Video Presentation will provide an overview of Draft Plan; it will be available to access at any time following the event. The Live Q+A will invite participants to ask questions through an online written chat board, and the Project Lunenburg Team will respond live on video. There will also be live polling.

The Roll of Honour for 2020 will include names of those whose lives were lost in years ending in '0'. The event will include video and a live feed from the waterfront - for Public Health reasons, please watch from home rather than coming to the waterfront. Agenda to come.
Wreaths in memory of lives lost would be welcome and should be placed at the Fishermen's Monument on Bluenose Drive by 12:00 p.m. on Sep. 13, 2020. A live forum designed to help townspeople "meet their candidates" for Town Council and Mayor of Lunenburg in the upcoming election.
COVID 19 guidelines will be followed. Please pay close attention to the event rules.
Event Rules:
- All attendees will be required to register at the door and provide a contact phone number for COVID 19 traceability. If maximum capacity is reached (100 people with COVID guidelines in place) we will be required to close the doors and deny entry.
- Attendees may only arrive in groups of two people maximum. Chairs will be placed at appropriate distances within the community centre and we ask that they not be moved and that people not congregate either before or after the event. A hand sanitization station will be set up at the door.
- Masks will be required while indoors at all times. Candidates may remove their mask while speaking at the mic but will be asked not to touch the microphone.
- There will be no questions from the floor during the event. Questions will be taken from the public prior to the event and weighted. The top 2 - 5 most popular questions (per race) will be asked. Candidates will not be given the questions beforehand. Any questions not answered will be forwarded to the candidates after the event and any responses will be made public.
