Lincoln Street (King to Kempt Streets)
Sewer and Water Upgrades July 5, 2017 Update

Thank you for your understanding as the important work of replacing aging infrastructure in this portion of Lincoln Street continues. We would like to provide you with a further progress report on construction activity and will endeavor to do this every two weeks to keep you informed.

J.R. Eisener Contracting Limited, has been working east on Lincoln Street replacing storm water, sanitary sewer and water lines. The new services are installed to mid-block on Lincoln Street between Prince and Hopson Streets. Street resurfacing and sidewalk reinstatement work has begun. The schedule is to have concrete side walk work complete to mid-block between Prince Street and Hopson Street by July 7 and fine grading of street gravels will be done to this point July 11. Then a base course of asphalt will be placed July 12.

Work has also started between Kempt and Hopson Streets installing new storm water, sanitary sewer and water mains. This will continue for the rest of July.

Traffic has been detoured around the worksite and access to properties will be restricted or limited until construction is complete.
